ReCity Co-Networking Social Impact Hub

ReCity focuses on training not-for-profit and for-profit leaders, sharing resources to multiply impact, and connecting the Durham community.

An Underdog Story: Equipping the Equippers

Our co-networking enterprise uses real estate to bring together not-for-profit and for-profit social impact organizations. We focus on “equipping the equippers'' training to help leaders develop personally, professionally, and organizationally. We share resources and offer centralized locations to accelerate the trust needed for community development.

We are collectively addressing social determinants of health to multiply organizational impact beyond what each organization can do alone.

Equipping the Equippers: Training

We coordinate training in systems, tools, leadership, development, and mindsets. We proudly host peer groups, learning days, 1:1 mentoring, specialized training, and more.

Cooperating for Good: Sharing

We help partners maximize their resources to provide excellent direct services. Shared resources include operational systems, bookkeeping, marketing, event planning, and more.

We also share spaces including business offices, co-working space, our recording studio, training labs, event space, and more.

I Am Because You Are: Connecting

We embody the Zulu philosophy of Ubuntu that brings out the humanity of others and builds the collective impact. We share measurements, services, and activities including our ReCity Labs and Town Halls.

Sponsorships Goals

Our sponsorship goal for 2024 is 40k per month. Sponsors get the benefit of marketing to thousands of people who come through ReCity, plus the social goodwill of supporting not-for-profit and for-profit leaders who share our commitment to social impact. Sponsorships subsidize the costs for centralized, downtown office and meeting space as well as associated programs bringing world-class resources to every leader and organization.

Your financial investment in ReCity helps us provide space and support for 25+ organizations serving the Durham community.
